The online kick off meeting will be held on Wednesday 22 and Thursday 23 April.

Funded by the Interreg Adrion Programme, CREATURES started last March, with a duration of 30 months and a financial envelope of 1,838,160.00 euros.

The Project aims to conserve, promote and enhance the natural and cultural heritage in the Adriatic-Ionian area in a sustainable key.

The lead partner is the Metropolitan City of Bologna in partnership with the Friuli Venezia Giulia Autonomous Region (Italy), the Urban Planning Institute of the Republic of Slovenia (Slovenia), Patras Science Park S.A. (Greece), the Athens University of Economics and Business Research Center (Greece), the Regional Development Agency Dubrovnik-Neretva Country-DUNEA (Croatia), the Regional Directorate of National Culture, Vlorë (Albania) and the School of Economics and Business in Sarajevo, University of Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina).

After the opening from Lead Partner, the Technical Secretariat of the Interreg ADRION Programme will kick  off CREATURES project presenting administrative and project management rules. Later will follow the presentations of the Work Packages and related discussions among partners about activities, objectives and deadlines.

This will be the first time partners will meet online to kick off a territorial cooperation project. However, taking into account this particular historical moment, CREATURES will be a mouthpiece for territorial needs supporting tourism and cultural sectors that have been severely affected by the spread of Coronavirus and the provisions adopted to contain the infection.
